Terms of Sale / Warranty
Kingslight Guitars are warranted for life to the original (non-dealer) owner against defects in material or workmanship.   Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by any abuse or neglect of the instrument.  Should a problem arise, please contact me by e-mail or phone to discuss the situation.  Owner is responsible for costs of shipping both ways, should the need arise to send the instrument to me for repairs.

If you order a guitar that is in stock, full payment must be made at time of order in the form of a personal or certified check or money order.  You may, if you choose, come to the Kingslight shop to pick up your guitar.  Otherwise, the guitar will be shipped UPS at an additional cost to you of $125.00 including insurance (packed in a heavy duty cardboard box with padding).  If you live within 100 mile radius of Portage,MI,  we will hand deliver the guitar to you at a small charge... up to the same cost as shipping.  Sales tax, if purchased in Michigan, is also an additional 6%.

If you order a guitar to be custom built, a deposit of 1/4 of the cost of the guitar (including case, taxes, shipping etc.)  is required to hold a spot in the order of building instruments.  1/4 is required at the time the guitar is started and the final 1/2 is due when the guitar is ready for delivery (see delivery options above).  Please inquire about the current waiting time.

If you have purchased a guitar from us, sight unseen, then you have 7 days from receiving the instrument  to return it for a refund, if you are not satisfied.  If it is an in-stock instrument, you will receive a full refund less shipping costs.  If it is a custom ordered instrument, refund will depend on how unique and custom the guitar is and likelihood of quick resale.  At least 1/2 of the instrument's cost will be refunded immediately with the remainder dependent upon resale or likelihood of resale.

In any case of returning a guitar for refund, the instrument must be returned in the same condition as it was in when received by you.  If this is not the case, a reasonable deduction from the refund amount could be made.
